TE Connectivity’s competitively-priced Positive Lock connection system is ideal for any application exposed to high vibration and mechanical shock. The receptacles are specifically designed to provide ease of assembly and secure retention to mating tabs.
Positive Lock Mark II products lock onto mating tabs and are removable only by deflecting an integrally designed repressor prior to withdrawal. Housings both insulate and serve as removal tools. The rolls on the receptacles feature flared edges, and because the tab does not slide on the bare edge, insertion force is reduced. Tab insertion confirmation is provided by an audible ‘snap’ that can also be felt.
