The 3 Watt IRM-03(S) series of miniature, onboard type encapsulated power supplies has been introduced by Mean Well to complement its existing IRM-05/10/15/20/30/45/60 (5 – 60 W) models. With a miniature size and ultra low no-load power consumption (less than 0,075 W), it can help system designers not only resolve issues of insufficient PCB layout space for the terminal equipment but also comply with global regulations requiring low power consumption for electronic devices.
Per application requirements, this series comes in through-hole (IRM-03) and SMD (IRM-03S) variants that are ready for hand soldering or surface mounting onto printed circuit boards of various electric apparatuses or industrial electromechanical facilities.
Suitable applications include industrial equipment, mechanical instruments, automation facilities, handheld electrical devices, IoT related equipment, and more.
