Recom has extended its portfolio of medical-certified power supplies with two new series: the RACM40 and RACM65. Offering 40 W and 65 W of power respectively, they are available either as open-frame or in a semi-enclosed case. All models are equipped with two independent protective measures for maximum patient protection (2xMOPP) – a must for safety in medical technology.
Both of the series operate with an input voltage range of 85 to 264 V a.c. and deliver 5 V, 12 V, 15 V, 24 V and 48 V d.c. output voltages, which can be trimmed over a ±10% range to meet the exact requirements of the application. All models feature efficiency of up to 93,5%, require no minimum load and can be used at altitudes of up to 5000 m at temperatures between -40°C and +85°C. The output voltages are fully regulated and have tolerances of less than ±0,2% over the entire input voltage range and less than ±0,5% over the entire load range.
