RS extends selection of TDK/Epcos passives

10 August 2016 Passive Components

RS Components has vastly extended the range of capacitor technologies available from stock to customers worldwide, leveraging its new global agreement with TDK.

Since the two companies announced their franchise agreement in June 2015, RS has added over 700 lines of TDK and Epcos passive components, emphasising broader support for capacitor technologies such as aluminium electrolytic, film and ceramic capacitors with various classes of dielectrics. Customers can now get fast access to high-quality TDK capacitors, including devices with high capacitance, compact dimensions down to 0201 chip-size MLCCs, wide temperature range, or voltage ratings of 1000 V and higher.

By integrating the additional lines of TDK and Epcos products, RS has also extended its selection of components such as protection devices, high-frequency filters, connectivity modules, wirewound and chip-type surface-mount inductors, leaded inductors, and ferrite beads, rings and sleeves for choke or filtering duties. In total, over 2300 TDK and Epcos products are now stocked and available for free next-day delivery from RS.
