Universal power supplies

10 August 2016 Power Electronics / Power Management

Recom’s new compact RACG100 and RACG150 were designed without compromises in reliability, efficiency or protection. These modules supply 100 or 150 W continuously without active cooling, regardless of whether they are horizontally or vertically mounted.

The RACG100 series power supplies are capable of delivering a constant 100 W output and feature short circuit and overload protection. They can be safely operated between -20°C and +60°C and come with outputs of 5, 12, 24 or 48 V d.c.

With additional features, the RACG150 series has over-voltage and over-temperature protection, and is capable of delivering 150 W of power. It can be safely operated between -20°C and +70°C and comes with 12, 24 or 48 V d.c. outputs.

At only 120 x 98 x 37,6 mm (RACG100) and 160 x 98,3 x 37,6 mm (RACG150), these power supplies are more compact than comparable industrial units. High-quality components and professional manufacturing methods guarantee long life and trouble-free operation in critical industrial applications.

Both series operate at an efficiency of 88% and across a wide input voltage range of 90 – 264 V a.c. (120 – 370 V d.c.). Their integrated Class B filters (EN55022), high isolation between input and output (3 kVAC/1 min), and full safety certifications (EN/UL/CSA 60950) ensure a high-quality product backed by a 3-year warranty.
