The DPF200 is a manual depanelling system designed by Piergiacomi for low board volumes where the use of pliers would require excessive labour and where the use of an automatic system would not justify the cost.
The main feature of the system is the possibility to quickly change the milling cutter and the interchangeable rail. The rail is useful in assisting the operator to place and then drag the circuit until the cut is done. The particular shape of the rail avoids damaging the assembled circuit if the operator inserts it incorrectly. Its design ensures total protection against possible incidents according to safety rules.
Piergiacomi designed the DPF200 to solve problems due to stress, breaking or tearing out of PCB’s fibres that often occur using standard blades or manual tools. Its vacuum system allows quick and easy placement in any working area.
