Conformal coating systems

In today’s competitive environment, PCB manufacturers are continually challenged by the need to balance throughput, materials, labour, and regulatory and environmental concerns in their electronics manufacturing processes. For customers needing conformal coatings, TTnS provides cost-effective and environmentally friendly solutions.

The company’s patented, bubble-free and energy-saving conformal coating systems for inline production can be used alone, or as a total solution together with the TCM45A coating work cell and the ECO99C curing oven. The coating work cell has a 5-axis precision robot using advanced coating applicators to provide consistent application, substantially reduce masking and minimise rework.

Customers can expect a 40% to 60% reduction in material used when compared to conventional spraying or dipping processes. Virtually all conformal coating materials are supported, including acrylics, rubber, urethane, silicone and water-based coatings.
