Rugged electronics cabinets

22 March 2017 Enclosures, Racks, Cabinets & Panel Products

The Schroff Varistar IP 55 range of electronics cabinets are CENELEC approved to EN50125-3 for shock and vibration in various applications. They feature ingress protection against dust and water (up to IP55) and are EMC-shielded against electromagnetic interference (60 dB at 1 GHz and 40 dB at 3 GHz).

Also available are ruggedised models that are built with a welded steel frame that passes the most stringent tests outlined per IEC61587–2 and Telcordia GR–63–CORE. They are also tested and certified for use up to Bellcore Zone 4 in seismic prone areas. In addition to their EMC shielding and IP55 rating, these rugged cabinets offer dual protection against corrosion with a zinc-plated and power-coated frame, and are tested and certified to MIL–STD–901D.
