Traco Power announced the release of the new TEQ 300WIR DC-DC converter. It has an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range and is available in a variety of supply voltages and a wide range of output voltages.
The converter has an infinite capacitive load, under-voltage lockout circuit, soft start and input protection filter. It is a high-power block with excellent thermal convection, an operating temperature of -40°C to +80°C and I/O isolation of 3000 V d.c.
The TEQ 300WIR has increased shock and vibration resistance and has EN 50155 approval for railway applications. With efficiency up to 92%, it is well suited for most high-power industrial applications. The device has a constant current output characteristic ideal for battery load applications, and a power sharing feature allows up to three units to be paralleled for higher power applications.
