1000 W enclosed power supply

To offer more choices for high-power applications, Mean Well has added to its established HRPG-600 series of power factor corrected, enclosed type power supplies, with the launch of the 1000 Watt HRPG-1000 series.

By sharing a common mechanical outline with the HRPG-600, the new model allows customers to upgrade from 600 W power output to 1000 W without modifying system space.

Features include high efficiency up to 94%, a wide working temperature range of -40°C to 70°C (12 V and 24 V models have derating from 60°C, remote control functions (remote on/off, remote sense and DC OK signal), auxiliary power 5 V@ 0,3 A, no-load power consumption less than 0,75 W, and parallel power up to 4000 W.

The power supplies support a universal input voltage range of 90 – 264 V a.c. Cooling is by means of a built-in DC fan, and protection is integrated against short circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature. Its capabilities make the HRPG-1000 series suitable for industrial control, electric motors, communication systems and network equipment, among others.
