Printed circuit board (PCB) broker Elmatica has hired a country manager to spearhead its push into the South African market. “A few weeks ago we announced our strategy to increase our presence in South Africa; we are now ready to put this strategy into effect and consequently establish a permanent and dedicated presence in South Africa. Sometimes, things simply go quicker than anticipated,” explains the CEO of Elmatica, Didrik Bech.
Sebastian Mzobanzi Ndlovu
Sebastian Mzobanzi Ndlovu is the man appointed to the role. He joins Elmatica from Cirtech-EDA and EDA Technologies in South Africa, and has also worked for the Departments of Social Development and the South African Municipality Office in Mkhondo. Ndlovu has over 6 years’ of experience in the PCB industry, where he has serviced and managed 45-plus accounts within the aerospace, medical, automotive, defence and commercial sectors.
“I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to join the Elmatica team, the oldest broker of printed circuits in the world, with a portfolio and experience practically unlike anybody else,” Ndlovu stated. “Elmatica’s focus on transparency, documentation, digitisation and digital supply chain are, to my experience, unlike all other actors in our industry. I hope my knowledge of the South African market, experience and language skills, combined with the professionalism and expertise of Elmatica, will ensure that South African companies can develop their products faster and better, so we can create winners together.”
“Ndlovu believes in the value of building long-lasting relationships and providing predictability and security to our customers. I hope his strength as a strategic partner to our customers, mapping their needs, requirements and proposing solutions that meet or challenge their objectives, will appeal to all. Now we are ready to support our South African customers even better,” said Bech.
