IPC offers market research subscriptions

20 February 2013 News

IPC has introduced a new market research subscription service for electronics manufacturers and their suppliers. Four different series of reports are available to electronics OEMs, PCB and EMS companies, suppliers, financial analysts and others with a need for reliable market intelligence.

Using aggregate data from companies worldwide, along with carefully vetted secondary research, the subscription series features regularly published reports that combine current data with descriptive charts and expert commentary.

“Our PCB and EMS reports are based on IPC’s extensive statistical programs, using data from large and representative samples of companies that manufacture and assemble PCBs,” says Sharon Starr, director of market research for IPC. “The value of these reports is in the uniqueness of the data, which is collected directly from the industry by IPC and is not available from any other source.”

Reports available on a monthly basis through the new subscription service include IPC Commodities Report for the Electronics Industry, IPC North American PCB Market Report and IPC North American EMS Market Report. The first commodities report will be published in early February. The monthly PCB and EMS reports will begin publication in early March.

The new subscription service report IPC Global EMS Business Report will be published quarterly beginning in May of this year.

Prices for the subscriptions range from $500 to $2000 per year, with a 50% discount for IPC members. All reports will be delivered electronically, with single-user as well as site- and global-licensing options. Companies that participate in IPC’s PCB or EMS statistical programs are eligible to receive a subscription for their specific industry sector free of charge.
