Modular component mounter

The HM520 is a high-speed modular chip mounter which can be configured with two 20-spindle high-speed rotary heads or two 6-spindle multi-function heads.

The rotary head places components from 0201 metric chips (008004 imperial) up to 6 mm square, and the multi-function head can handle components up to 55 mm with a maximum component height of 15 mm. Standard printed circuit board size is 510 mm (L) x 580 mm (W) with an option for 750 mm (L) x 580 mm (W).

The HM520 delivers placement speeds of up to 80 000 CPH (components per hour) and productivity per unit area is significantly increased by minimising the machine length, while increasing the PCB size capability.
