Save electricity with the convenience of GeyserWorx

29 January 2020

GeyserWorx is a microprocessor-based product that utilises solar energy to heat household or commercial water during the day. This is done using PV (photovoltaic) panels that reduce the electricity costs associated with running a traditional geyser system. The system includes PV panels complete with mounting brackets and connecting wiring, temperature sensors, and is available with or without acrylic facia.

GeyserWorx vs complete solar installations

The capital outlay required for a complete solar installation far outweighs the costs involved to install a Geyserworx system. For instance, the capital needed to install 4 kW of solar power in a home is about 10 times the cost of GeyserWorx. Bearing in mind that an ordinary geyser consumes 4 kW by itself, an installed 4 kW solar system would not be able to power other household items while the geyser is heating water.

Renewable energy equipment like GeyserWorx requires an initial investment. However, they make up for that expense by saving householders money in the long term. By limiting the initial expenditure and maximising the return, any payback period can be significantly reduced. Also being able to expand your energy saving investment modularly allows cost-effective expansion to the system.

The GeyserWorx Deluxe system allows users to control their geysers remotely through the GeyserWorx app available for Android or Apple iOS.
