DoppTech (Doppler Technologies) was recently established to fulfill development requirements in the specialist military and professional electronic fields. Not only does DoppTech perform contract development but also invests substantially in own private venture projects.
Situated in Alberton, Gauteng, DoppTech is managed by Jaco Budricks (managing director) and Gerrie de Jager (chief engineer). Budricks recently finished a career spanning 25 years at Reunert and Fuchs Electronics where he held positions at Reutech as managing director and as group technical director, and at Fuchs as managing director and technical director. He was responsible for the development and marketing of many of Fuchs' products.
Gerrie de Jager is well known in the Gauteng electronic development community (as 'Creatron') and has successfully completed many high-tech development contracts, mostly for the defence establishments.
DoppTech is closely associated with Swiss company MTH SA. MTH (Micro Technology Hérémence) is a specialist defence company, designing and manufacturing fusing systems.
