The KZNISC organisation ( www.innovation.org.za) is a non-profit, self-sustaining innovation support centre which is endeavouring to support SMMEs to optimise and commercialise newly-developed technologies in embedded systems and information technologies, in accordance with both national development imperatives and local and provincial growth and development strategies. KZNISC is a GODISA national pilot, whose mission is to provide business, research, technical, management and marketing skills to technology rich South African SMMEs.
The GODISA Programme ( www.godisa.net) is a significant SA initiative to increase economic growth and employment creation and is located in Pretoria at the CSIR.
