MGE UPS Systems named 'UPS Company of the Year'
18 October 2006
News
MGE UPS Systems has received the ‘UPS Company of The Year’ award from Frost & Sullivan for the second year in a row.
According to Frost & Sullivan analysts, 'An excellent strategy, comprehensive product portfolio, increasing revenues and profitability, and strong focus on technology and customers make MGE UPS Systems the winner of Frost & Sullivan's 2006 'UPS Company of The Year' award.'
While leading the European market, MGE UPS Systems has also focused on markets outside Europe, such as Asia and North America. This was combined with a stronger presence in high-potential countries like Brazil, Russia, China and India.
In 2005-2006, 65% of the products, power management solutions and services were renewed to ensure the best answer to market needs. These launches were part of the company's 'Intelligent power for your business continuity' initiative: 'every new solution has been thought out and designed to provide customers with the highest power availability, system flexibility and total cost of ownership (TCO).'
MGE is also a pioneer in new battery technologies and has already launched trials of fuel cell UPS systems. It is deeply involved in the French renewable energies cluster called Tenerrdis, which is initiating multiple projects in the photovoltaic field.
