Lapp Kabel’s demo van recently completed a tour of Port Elizabeth and Durban. It will now spend the next three weeks back home in Johannesburg before setting off for Cape Town.
The aim of the van and its travels is to expose Lapp’s latest technology to interested parties who simply do not have the time to visit every trade show available. The bus travels directly to customers at no charge and provides the ability to train customer staff in less than 30 minutes, all while enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee.
On display are more than 150 products in Lapp’s range of cables, glands, connectors, marking systems, wireless, Ethernet and cable tools. The demo now also includes wireless/serial Profibus, Industrial Ethernet switches, Profibus repeaters, special encoder and resolver cables and more, accompanied by a highly trained staff member ready to answer questions and recommend solutions.
