Lawrence Pinnoy passes away

2 February 2011 News

Dataweek and the electronics industry at large were deeply saddened by the recent passing away of Lawrence Pinnoy, the long-time general manager of Suntronika.

In a heartfelt personal tribute to Lawrence’s memory, Suntronika’s owner, Lily Sun, lamented: “We were very shocked and saddened by the untimely passing away of Lawrence on 7 December 2010. He was more than a member of my staff – he was a colleague and friend and all the staff of Suntronika will endorse my sentiments in saying that he will be missed by all of us. My heartfelt condolences go to his family. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”

Lawrence is survived by his wife Sue and children Mark, Steven and Claire, who remember him best as a man who loved gadgets, music and sports, as well as photography and bird watching.

Our condolences and best wishes go out to Lawrence’s bereaved loved ones during this difficult time.
