Solar training courses prove popular
2 March 2011
News
SolarCon is offering a reward to the 400th person to register with the company for a training course on solar and wind energy installations. The company is a supplier of solar products, as well as the southern African representative for IBC Solar, a German company that specialises in consulting on major alternative energy projects.
SolarCon’s managing director, Dieter Dilchert, founded a training institute for solar and wind energy installations, and has been running these courses for three years now, training over 330 students in the process. By the end of 2011, the company will have trained over 400 students. To celebrate this achievement, it will be giving away a starter kit for a SHS Solar Home System to the 400th person to register for a training course.
Lapp Group is also involved by sponsoring previously disadvantaged students to go on the solar and wind energy installation course. The two companies are intensifying their focus on training to promote energy solutions for companies and households based on affordable technology.
For more information contact Dieter Dilchert, SolarCon, +27 (0)11 201 3200.
