Security products exploit SIMCom wireless engine
20 July 2011
News
J Fine Innovations, a Centurion-based GSM development house, has successfully developed a range of security products based on the SIMCom wireless engine.
The first products to feature this engine include the Neptune Communicator for alarm and machine monitoring, the GSM Intercom and the Titan 12 security and management system.
The Neptune 6 Communicator uses GSM communications specifically for monitoring various signals from alarm systems, generators and any other machine requiring monitoring and communication. The GSM Single Station Intercom is ideal for roadside fixed-point communications, lifts and access control. The Titan 12 system is used for monitoring alarms, as well as for industrial monitoring and management such as fuel levels, batteries, air conditioners, cell towers and many other installations.
According to the J Fine development team, the modules were chosen not only for their technical capabilities and affordability, but also the level of support provided by Otto Wireless Solutions, the local SIMCom supplier.
