Growth in demand for the assembly of printed circuit boards has forced Deman Manufacturing to enlarge its production capacity. To this end, new equipment was purchased specifically to negate bottlenecks at certain stages of the production process. These acquisitions now allow for faster throughput and better quality control over the products the company manufactures.
Zalman Orlianski from Zetech (on the left) hands over the new equipment to Robert Petrovski, Deman’s SMD manager.
The new equipment includes a Marantz MEK 22x automatic optical inspection unit, a DEK Horizon 03iX printer and a Vitronics Soltec MR 933+ reflow oven, all supplied by Zetech.
Deman now has two fully automated SMT lines capable of placing 13 000 and 8000 components per hour, respectively.
