Arrow Altech Distribution (AAD) announced the appointment of Renato Martins as its general manager of sales, effective from 1 September 2017.
Martins has been with AAD since 2005 and has been a key part of the company’s success in the electronic component distribution marketplace during this time. Renato Martins.
“Renato is well known in the industry and his customer management as well as sales track record is second to none. We at AAD are delighted that Renato has accepted the appointment of general manager: sales at AAD,” said Peter Griffiths, managing director of Arrow Altech Distribution. “Renato has all the attributes required to grow this company, including a great passion for our customers and an innovative approach to all that he does.
“The position comes with great responsibility to meet high growth sales targets and assisting the sales team in maintaining AAD’s passion towards its customers as well as AAD’s place as the leading electronic component distributor in sub-Saharan Africa,” continued Griffiths.
Passionate about customers and sport, Renato is thought of as an honest, straight talking individual who enjoys socialising, actively playing and watching sports – especially soccer and Formula 1 – and having recently taken up golf. “I am taking over a very experienced as well as passionate team and I am very honoured to be given the opportunity to lead them and AAD going forward,” said Martins.
