Actel has announced that Electronic Control Systems (ECS) has adopted its A42MX09 antifuse field-programmable gate array (FPGA) device for its new numerical controllers targeted at machine tool manufacturers. The MX devices were chosen for their price/performance, flexibility and design security, said Actel.
