The Copa DPL10F range of line protectors from Surge Technology is designed for protecting 10-wire telephone lines, 10 Base-T, ISDN and 12-60 V signal lines. The devices provide 10 kA (8/20) protection and may be installed in Krone LAS disconnect type blocks.
All units have a special dual earthing system and low profile to fit in outdoor enclosures.
Various versions are available, including an overvoltage protection plug for single balanced lines. Protection plugs with different circuits or nominal voltages may be used on the same block, and a model is offered with additional built-in overcurrent protection.
Suitable for use in a -25 to +80°C temperature range, the devices have response times ranging from <1 ns to <25 ns.
