Citel's spark gap SGP is designed to prevent earth potential differences between equipment and structures (metallic pylon, pipes) which are connected to different earthing products. In the event of lightning currents, when sparkover voltage is reached, the spark gap SPG creates equalisation of the earth potentials and avoids damage. The SGP is completely sealed and as such can be used even in very harsh conditions.
