Flexible power system uses 'building blocks'

Vicor's VIPAC Arrays - a highly flexible system of DC input, power building blocks - can be configured with as many as four user-definable outputs on Vicor's low-profile, cold-plate chassis that measures only 19 mm in height.

The company's Web-based VIPAC design centre gives designers the ability to explore a variety of solutions that meet their unique electrical and mechanical requirements.

VIPAC Arrays are suited for use in distributed and modular power systems where power density and reliable operation are critical.
