Cosel has published notice of change to lead-free solder for its switching power supplies (on-board type)
The power supply series and production/shipment schedule is:
* ZU Series (1,5 W to 10 W) in June, 2003.
* ZU Series (15 W, 25 W) in September, 2003.
The current surface mount solder Sn-37Pb (eutectic solder) will change to lead-free Sn-3,0 Ag-0,5 Cu. Nothing in their specification/performance is altered by this change.
To indicate that the product has lead-free solder, Cosel will indicate with an [eMark] on the name plate.
