Knitter-Switch has redeveloped and improved its Series-A subminiature switches. These switches are hermetically sealed and splashproof; and the terminations are formed and tinned for ease of PCB insertion and soldering. Raster is 2,54 mm.
The company offers a new leaflet that includes all available variations, illustrating specification differences and features. Part numbers of the new versions include an additional E, eg AT1D-RA becomes ATE1D-RA.
Slide and vertical mounting switches are presently available in both existing and new versions, therefore all future orders should specify the required type. In instances where there are no mechanical or electrical differences, the new version will automatically replace the old.
All switches with tinned and formed terminations are sealed and splashproof. Mounting frames are available to eliminate lateral movement in all vertical mounted versions. Contacts are phosphor bronze-gold plated over nickel and are good for more than 60 000 switchings. Extra length paddle type toggle versions are available.
