Microchip invites designers to free embedded solutions seminars

7 May 2003 News

Microchip Technology has announced that it is offering free, half-day Embedded Systems Seminars at various locations worldwide, including South Africa. Running from 5 May to 26 June, attendees can learn about the latest Microchip product offerings through discussion and solution-based demonstrations. For example, instructors will show how Microchip's PIC microcontrollers with nanoWatt technology conserve power through a demonstration that measures temperature powered by a grapefruit. Another tutorial provides an introduction to a new programmable gain amplifier family.

Other topics include various connectivity solutions; the importance of migration and compatibility in PIC microcontrollers from simple, mechatronic to complex applications; and the company's development systems.

The seminars are ideal for designers who are looking for solutions to embedded control challenges and are not yet familiar with Microchip's product offerings.

For more information about the Embedded Systems Seminars, including sites and dates see www.microchip.com/seminars, or telephone Willem Hijbeek, 011 452 0530.
