The K3132 is a compact, easy-to-use insulation/continuity tester, designed to strict IEC1010-1 safety standards, it has an IP protection rating of IP54 which makes it ideal for arduous environments. The instrument offers 3 insulation test voltage ranges of 250 V, 500 V and 1000 V, a 3 Ω continuity range and a 500 Ω resistance range. In order to obtain accurate measurements there is a facility for test lead resistance zero adjustment.
The K3132 fully complies with the test requirements of SABS 0142. The meter is not only equipped with a 'live circuit' warning, but also displays the actual AC voltage measurements of the mains supply. Other features include a battery check facility, a lock-down test button and automatic discharge of capacitive circuits following testing.
