The Handyscope 3 is the first 100 Msps 12 bit, USB 2.0 measuring instrument that comprises a digital storage oscilloscope, spectrum analyser, transient recorder, voltmeter and arbitrary waveform generator.
Manufactured by Tiepie Engineering in The Netherlands and distributed in South Africa by Janatek/Jobmatch Systems, this new compact measuring instrument is claimed to be able to solve almost any measuring problem. Signal analysis is done with a 12 to 16-bit resolution (14 bit effective, SNR 95 dB) and a maximum sampling speed of 100 MHz. The input range is 0,2 V full scale to 80 V full scale. The record length is 128 Ksamples per channel.
The software allows advanced measurements and presentations, and new software updates are downloadable free of charge from the company's website.
