High-density DC-DC converter

An addition to the large program of DC-DC converters from TRACO POWER is a 15 W converter in a 50 x 25 x 10 mm package with industry standard pinout. These high-density converters, comprising 21 models have been designed for a wide range of space-critical applications including tele- and data-communication and industrial process control systems.

Standard output configurations are 3,3 V/4 A, 5 V/3 A, 12 V/ 1,25 A, ±5 V/1,5 A, ±12 V/0,6 A, and ±15 V/0,5 A. Wide input ranges of 9-18, 18-36 and 36-75 V d.c. make this product interesting for a wide variety of applications in communication, industrial systems or battery operated equipment.

The high efficiency allows operating temperatures up to +71°C (+60°C for 3,3 V models) without derating. The TEN 15 series features short circuit protection, input filter to EN 55022, Class A and an input/output isolation of 1500 V d.c.

The product comes in a low profile shielded metal package with an insulated baseplate.
