The ST 4-HESI spring cage fuse terminal from Phoenix Contact has a lever that takes glass tube micro-fuses measuring 5 x 20 mm. It is suitable for protecting devices and for use in I&C circuits.
The power circuit can be separated by simply pivoting the device. With a width of just 6 mm, this is the smallest fuse terminal available on the market for micro fuses of this size, says the manufacturer. This means a 20% space saving. The fuse is quick and easy to replace.
Due to the matching contours of the double bridge shafts, the fuse is universally compatible with universal terminals having a diameter of 4 mm2. Therefore, as well as acting as a safety device, the terminal also performs potential distribution. The fuse terminal is also available with an optional 12 to 250 V indicator display, which shows when a fuse has been triggered.
