Elen Enclosures is introducing the Himel Series CRN steel enclosures. The CRN is a 'no frills' economy range of enclosures perfectly suited for any 'run of the mill' application (motor starters, terminal boxes, etc) says Elen Enclosures. The enclosures are manufactured in conformity with European standards, yet according to the distributor, the pricing compares well with locally manufactured products of similar sizes.
The enclosures are made from a continuous length of sheet steel with rear wall welded to the frame and gutter-profiled front. The front door is fitted with a continuous in-situ moulded foam gasket, double bar or square locks with non-metallic cams, concealed hinges, two perforated reinforcing profiles which also allow fitting of equipment and accessories.
The enclosures are treated with iron phosphate and chromate passivated prior to electrostatic coating with epoxy modified structural polyester powder finish (RAL 7032 grey). This treatment results in excellent paint adhesion and provides a very good protection against corrosion. The continuous foamed gasket and gutter profiling provide an IP55 degree of protection.
The CRN series is currently stocked in eight sizes ranging from 350 x 250 x 150 mm to 800 x 600 x 250 mm.
