Dust-free computer cabinets also easily upgradable

Over 150 Clean-Cab dust-free computer and monitor enclosures have been supplied to various South African industries since 1999. South African supplier Drakeng Technologies says that Clean-Cabs enable one to use conventional office PCs and monitors in aggressive industrial environments. They offer excellent protection against dust, mildly corrosive atmospheres, mechanical damage and theft - reducing equipment maintenance to virtually zero.

The enclosures are attractive and are constructed from powder-coated mild steel and designed to be re-usable when upgrading computer hardware. The basic enclosure is retained and all that may be required is to install the appropriate peripheral cable plate to suit the new peripheral device cable requirements (ie, serial ports, printers, keyboards, mice, monitors and networks).

When computers housed in a Clean-Cab are upgraded, the old machine can be deployed elsewhere in your organisation without time consuming cleaning and/or refurbishment, increasing the life of your capital assets, says Drakeng Technologies. Satisfied users may be found in the feed milling, mining, paper manufacture, chemicals and cement batching fields.
