133 MHz PCI-based core for FPGAs

30 July 2003 Programmable Logic

Actel has announced availability of a new 133 MHz PCI-X IP core for its high-speed Axcelerator FPGAs. Developed, verified and supported by Actel, it says that the new CorePCIX DirectCore solution speeds time to market and reduces design and system costs, making it suitable for high-performance applications such as servers and workstations, as well as network and test equipment.

The CorePCIX core is available as a PCIX-only solution for embedded applications or as a PCI-X Specification Version 1.0a compliant solution for add-in card applications.
