Webb wins Namibian order for telecom towers

Mobile Telecommunications Limited of Namibia (MTC) has placed an order for the manufacture and supply of specialised telecommunications equipment for its cell network system with Webb Industries. In terms of the project, Webb is to manufacture and supply guyed mast structures for remote areas of north east Namibia.
Some five towers of 80 m in height will be used in the telecommunications and broadcast networks. The lattice structures are fabricated from high tensile structural steel and are designed to bolt together in sections, making local erection quick and efficient without the need for specialised equipment or specific skills.
This is one of the orders that Webb Industries has secured from MTC and the company has supplied telecommunications towers and products to other users in Namibia.
