Comprehensive line of AC/DC front ends

Power-One offers models that provide new features, more mounting options, and increase the upper power range of its AC/DC front-ends to 7000 W and power shelves to 21 000 W. The total power available from paralleled power shelves has been increased to 500 000 W.

Power-One's front-end offering provides customers with choices of 24 V d.c. or 48 V d.c. outputs, rack or chassis mounting, front mounted IEC or rear mounted hot-plug AC connections, input ranges of 180-to-264 or 342-to-528 V a.c., and 2U, 3U or 5U high configurations. Typical features include power factor correction, adjustable outputs, extensive input-transient protection, single wire or droop current-share, remote voltage adjust, and remote current monitoring. Typical protection features include overvoltage, over-current, overtemperature, and loss-of-phase warning for three-phase input products.
