Stereomicroscopes from Carl Zeiss

24 September 2003 News

The innovative character of a new series of microscopes from Carl Zeiss, emphasised by its colour and compact, unconventional styling, is also underlined by an attractive price - the result of advanced manufacturing technologies, claims the manufacturer.

For routine inspection and observation in your quality environment, the patented zoom system of the Stemi DV4 (double lens vario, zoom factor four) guarantees bright, high resolution images from an 8X overview to a 32X detail view and the image remains razor sharp throughout this zoom range; an exceptional feature in this price bracket.

Being displayed at the Blue IQ trade show, in addition to the four basic models - optionally with a zoom system or adjustable fixed magnifications - selected accessories (eg, image documentation, darkfield, and many more) are other outstanding features.

For whichever medium one chooses to record one's microscopy images, Carl Zeiss says it also can offer the right eyepiece adapter for the stereomicroscope: a digital viewfinder camera; a 35 mm SLR camera; a videocamera with C thread mount; or a plug-in eyepiece camera for monitor presentation.
