Hydraulic Steel Tube (HST), a well-known supplier of products in the hydraulic industry, recently appointed Fanie de Villiers onto its staff as 'business development manager' for the company in southern Africa. HST is a 21-year-old South African company operating out of Spartan, Kempton Park.

Comments De Villiers: "It will be my job to double the company's present market share by the end of 2004. This will be a tough call but a challenge that I am really looking forward to. I quickly realised the Manuli hydraulic hose and fitting product is a very well-known brand with the quality to suit our South African mining and industrial applications."
