IGBT modules enable easy designs

5 November 2003 Power Electronics / Power Management

eupec has extended its product range of Easy-IGBT-Modules with the introduction of the EasyPIM750 and EasyPACK750. These Easy-IGBT-Modules are based on the popular Easy Module technology but have smaller dimensions at a footprint of 25 x 36 mm2.

The Easy750 modules cover the range of 600 V IGBT modules in PIM and PACK configuration from 6 to 20 A. They require reduced mounting effort, offer enhanced reliability and enable the customer to realise a very compact and low cost inverter design. The EasyPIM750/EasyPACK750 especially suits consumer appliances such as washing machines or HVACs (heating, ventilation and airconditioning) and low power industrial drives/general purpose drives.

Combined with external circuits, a compact, flexible and low-cost sub-system with IPM-functions can be realised. The external logic and driver stage meets the customer's needs and helps to save time and development costs for different applications. An evaluation board is available as an easy way to drive the power module, while offering the best module performance and design for an application-specific solution.
