Modular electrical connectors

Interconnection
Fischer self-locking circular connectors have a reputation of being highly reliable electrical interconnections, even under severe environmental conditions. Based upon eight different housing sizes, the modular system permits the assembling of various connector inserts, such as coaxial, triaxial or multiway inserts for high frequency, high or low tension, high current, thermocouples or the combination of several types. Most of the connectors can also be supplied in a pressure tight, hermetically sealed version. Besides the classic solder contacts, connectors are available for crimping or for printed circuits.
As an option to the standard satin chromium plating, the company offers the connector housings with a black chromium finish. For special cases of extreme environmental conditions, the metal parts are made of stainless steel. Materials for insulators and gaskets are chosen according to the ambient criterias such as atmospheric exposure, radiation, elevated temperature or pressure of hostile vapour and liquids.
Due to the adaptability, quality and reliability, these Fischer connectors are used in measuring and automatic control systems in industrial, military and electromedical equipment, in aerospace simulation, nuclear research, telecommunication, television, etc.
