Siemens launched its tri-band GSM/GPRS super compact module, the MC45 that offers all-in-one voice communication and high speed data transmission via GPRS Class 10. It can thus guarantee quick wireless communication anywhere on the globe.
This extremely slim module at only 3,5 mm opens up new integration fields for a wide spectrum of mobile computing devices such as PDAs, smart phones, notebooks, multimedia appliances and Internet access accessories. Fully type-approved (R&TTE, FCC) and operator-approved (GCF, PTCRB), it provides for high speed data: GPRS Class 10 (up to 85 Kbps).
Easy to integrate the Tri-band EGSM 900/GSM 1800/GSM 1900 module weighs 10 g, has dimensions 53 x 34 x 3,5 mm, and has flexible antenna connections.
