The IPC-616 is a 4U-height 19" rackmount IPC chassis that can hold a 14-slot PCI/ISA backplane or a standard ATX motherboard. Various power supply options are available. One can equip the chassis with a 300 W redundant power supply or a single PS/2 power supply up to 300 W. As more and more applications require mass capacity and high reliability, the IPC-616 comes with a removable disk drive bay accommodating up to three half-height drives, as well as one 3,5" FDD and one 3,5" internal HDD.
The two front-accessible 53 CFM fans with air filters are hot-swappable and is fitted with an audible alarm in the event of fan failure or overheating. Fault-resilient features include audible alarm and LED indicators for system and power failure. The all-metal construction with proper ground connection provides excellent shielding against RF and EMI. All these make the IPC-616 an ideal platform for PC-based servers and CT/network applications.
