In addition to the extensive LEM range of products, Denver Technical Products is now in a position to offer current measurement devices manufactured by the French company, Universal Technic.
During 2003, LEM SA of Geneva, Switzerland, acquired Universal Technic of Paris, France, further increasing the current measurement products offered in South Africa by Denver Technical Products. The illustration shows a split-core current transducer type C104.AS, which has the capability to measure 10 000 A a.c. or d.c. The split-core design can accommodate a busbar of up to 104 x 104 mm.
The green and black box on the right is a signal conditioner to condition the two volt output from the current transducer to a 4-20 mA true-r.m.s. output for process control, etc.
