Where brute force protection is required, Citel says that its economical M160 Series AC surge protector can be used. This low profile device provides protection for all critical modes and is housed in a NEMA 3R enclosure.
The M160 Series can be deployed as a standalone SPD in a remote service entrance location or be incorporated into a coordinated protection scheme. Realtime diagnostics provide immediate notification in the event of a reduction in protection capacity.
Meeting UL, IEC and CE approval standards, the M160 is suited as a cost effective universal protection solution. It offers: 160 kA transient protection (8/20 µs); all modes protection; full on-board diagnostics; 200 kAIC fault current rated; EMI/RFI noise filtering (-40 dB).
