Maxim designed the MAX6854-MAX6869 nanopower microprocessor supervisory circuits for portable applications such as glucose meters, cellphones, PDAs, pagers, and MP3 players. With optional manual reset and/or a watchdog timer they typically draw only 170 nA supply-current. The devices monitor system voltages for undervoltage conditions. Each device is offered with reset thresholds from 1,6 to 4,6 V in approximately 100 mV increments. Reset timeout periods are available from 10 ms to 1200 ms (min). The devices are offered with active-low push-pull, active-high push-pull, or active-low open-drain outputs. They come in 5-pin SOT23 package specified for -40 to +85°C.
