Electrical training courses

25 October 2000 Events

A series of electrical training courses designed and developed by electrotechnical specialists PTM is being presented to technical and engineering personnel involved in electrical protection and metering systems.

The aim of the courses is to provide a sound theoretical background and delegates can expect to gain expert technical knowledge and learn how to integrate this into practical applications. Combining practical demonstrations with theoretical information, candidates will also improve skills and access cutting edge information from market leaders.

The courses originated from PTM's own in-house training programmes, which were designed to ensure that the company's 380 employees are equipped with the highest skills. However in order to address the general shortage of skills in the electrical industry generally, the company decided to broaden the training programmes and make them available to the industry at large.

The basic course will be held in November and December and the intermediate course in February 2001. For further information contact Corrie Vermeulen, PTM, (013) 693 3557.
