In view of the power density of today's semiconductor components, the dissipation of heat from electronic power modules is becoming increasingly complex. With its FLK fluid cooler product line, with a reduced volume, Fischer Elektronik says it has developed an efficient concept for heat dissipation.
Despite a very compact design, these fluid coolers are highly efficient, and are dimensioned to suit existing power modules such as IGBT, thyristor or SCR modules, AC switches, bridge rectifiers etc. The coolers are made from aluminium, and the surface of the base plate is precisely milled to accommodate the semiconductor components. The power modules are directly fastened using existing threaded holes. In addition to the standard series, Fischer Elektronik also provides special versions on request.
